Today is your Day

The quote is from Dr. Seuss’s book “Oh, the Places You'll Go!” and it captures the essence of motivation. Many people are happy to see that someone else is succeeding and they can be happy for them without feeling like they are being left behind. But there are also those who feel threatened by others success and try to bring them down - which can lead to a downward spiral of negativity.

In order to be successful, you need to believe in yourself and try your best in everything you do - no matter how hard it may seem or how many times you fail.

“You’re off to great places, today is your day. Your mountain is waiting, so get on your way.” These are the words that John-Boy from the Waltons used to motivate his family in a time of need.

We often see people trying and failing at something, but we rarely see them try again and succeed. It's easy to give up when we fail, but what if we were given a little push? What if we were told that it's okay to fail and that our success is just around the corner?

These are the words that would give us hope and motivation when we need it most. And I hope it gave you strength for days like this when you feel like you will never ever finish that mountain of work on your desk, or that project that you have been working on.

As the koreans would say.. “Fighting!”
