If you have a 16 year old

My son just turned 16. But I don’t know him that well.

He keeps to his own, is quiet most of the time, and enjoys checking his mobile phone than talking to us. But he’s a good kid. He is quick on his toes with errands or chores at home. He studies and have good grades but I know he is mentally alert and intelligent. I still want to know him more though.

Because when you see your kids smile at you or laugh with you, then you know you are his comfort. I’m not sure if I am his comfort though...
